I got my new wheels / tires and lift kit in yesterday. I was going to wait till this weekend to do the install but the tires kept staring me down, so on they went... (lift kit will still go on this weekend as planned).

Do you need the lift for tire clearance?! I think it looks GREAT just like that!
Also, I really like the black grille.

Loving that blacked out grille. The tires and wheels are nice as well.

Yes. Awesome. I will be at your house with tools and beverages to assist. Is it considered stalking if I just show up?

without the lift it reminds of the lower 40 concept from a couple years back. Love the wheels.

Without the lift I would have minimal articulation off road and clearance is very low between the tire and bumper, a good bump would put the two together.
And thanks

ok, functionality wise you definitely need it then. It looks like the perfect wheel gap, like sports car gap but with meaty tires. I don't know why I like it so much.
Overall, nice Jeep my wife has an all white Commander and wants me to put all the black details on it. Glad to see an example of that (even if it's blatantly not a Commander).
What tires did you go with?

These are a BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO. They perform great, have a good meaty sidewall compared to other all terrains of the same size, yet manage to keep the weight down compared to other tires of the same size.

Looks pretty awesome already, it's gonna be great with the lift. Planning on taking pictures and doing a writeup like with the body lift?

Apparently this policy is more popular than I previously thought.

I will be once the lift is done. Wheel and tire write up is remove old wheel replace with new wheel. HAHAH.

oooh, good choice, not a fan of the BF's (wear too quick) but they look great.

My co worker has had his for 6 years, about 6-7 k mi a year and still has about 40% tread left.

hmm, i wonder if the aftermarket ones are better than the oem ones. My friend has 30,000 miles on his Tacoma with them and they are almost toast. Rotated regularly and everything...he's pretty easy on his rides.

Well yes, these hold up a bit better than these as they are made for off-road purpose as well.
